Vee
The practical one, until she isn’t.
Marriage, blended family life, money, parenting, keeping a home running and finding the funny in all of it.
If there’s a smarter way to do it, Vee probably already found it.
Home · Marriage · Family · Community
The life you’re building. The family you love. The woman you still want to be.
We’re Toya, Vee and Tiff. Three friends, three marriages, three homes and three very different ways of doing life.
Around here, we talk about the whole thing: marriage, motherhood, home, money, friendship, food, style, gathering, getting away and finding your way back to yourself somewhere in between.
We don’t have it all figured out.
We’re just committed to building lives that feel good to live, and bringing other women along with us.
What we believe
Modern marriage, friendship, and community require work, not perfection.
And we think the good stuff is worth the work.
The three of us
We’re Vee, Tiff and Toya.
We’ve been friends long enough to know that being close doesn’t mean being the same. Give the three of us the same recipe, the same room, the same budget, or the same relationship question, and you may get three completely different answers.
That’s kind of the point.
We each bring our own homes, marriages, families, tastes, experiences and opinions to Modern Domestic.
You’ll probably see yourself in a little bit of all three of us.
The practical one, until she isn’t.
Marriage, blended family life, money, parenting, keeping a home running and finding the funny in all of it.
If there’s a smarter way to do it, Vee probably already found it.
Our details girl.
Beautiful homes, beautiful tables, good restaurants, great trips and a healthy appreciation for things being exactly where they’re supposed to be.
She likes her life organized and a little luxe.
The one most likely to invite everybody over.
Food, hosting, marriage, family, friendship, style and building a full life without pretending every part of it is effortless.
If there’s a table, she’s probably feeding somebody at it.
Same idea. Three women. Three completely different tables.
The table
A dining table. A patio table. A kitchen island. Sometimes the corner of somebody’s favorite restaurant.
The table is where we catch up, eat, disagree, laugh too loud, make plans, celebrate each other and have the conversations that probably should’ve happened weeks ago.
It’s where we gather our families.
It’s where we gather our friends.
And now, it’s where we’re building a bigger community of women we call Maddies.
For the Maddies
Modern Domestic may have started with the three of us, but it was never supposed to stop with us.
The Maddies are the women doing life alongside us.
Women with careers and grocery lists. Husbands and kids and girlfriends and dreams. Women who love their families deeply and still want experiences that belong to them.
So sometimes we gather around a table.
Sometimes we read together.
Sometimes we get dressed and go somewhere beautiful.
Sometimes we talk about marriage.
Sometimes we just laugh.
However we gather, the point is the same: women need women.
From A Gentle Start to Mother’s Day, summer lunches, vineyards and whatever we dream up next, our gatherings give women a reason to make time for themselves and for one another.
Beautiful settings are nice.
Being together is the point.
Marriage is beautiful.
Marriage is work.
And sometimes marriage is absolutely ridiculous.
Most Days I Do brings the three of us and our husbands around the table for honest conversations about partnership, parenting, sex, money, friendship, pressure, growth and continuing to choose each other through all the versions of life.
We’re not experts.
We’re living it too.
What’s everybody eating this week?
Toya shares her family’s real weekly menu with the Maddies, along with a recipe that has already been cooked, eaten and approved at home.
Nothing complicated.
Nothing created just for content.
Just something good enough to make again.
We’re doing life in real time over on Instagram: the dinners, the dates, the husbands, the kids, the outfits, the opinions, the gatherings and whatever else happens in between.

For brands
The three of us don’t live the same way, decorate the same way, cook the same way or tell stories the same way.
That’s exactly why a Modern Domestic partnership works.
Your product doesn’t show up in one styled campaign pretending to represent every woman.
It gets to live.
Three homes. Three perspectives. Three different expressions of the same brand, connected by one story.
A Three
You send one product to each of us.
From there, we each create in the place we know best, our own homes, in our own style and voice, while working from one shared creative direction.
The result feels connected without feeling copied.
Your brand gets consistency without losing personality.
At the Table
Your product becomes part of an experience designed around the women you actually want to reach.
We bring eight to ten Maddies around the table, place your product in the middle of the experience and create space for real conversation, real use and real reaction.
Not a focus group.
Not a room full of influencers performing for cameras.
Women talking to women, while your brand gets to listen.
Who you’re reaching
She’s building a career and a home.
She’s raising children, nurturing a marriage, managing a budget, figuring out dinner, calling her girlfriends, planning the vacation, taking care of everybody and learning to make room for herself too.
She loves beautiful things but still pays attention to the price.
She cares about her home without believing her identity begins and ends there.
She values marriage, family, friendship, community, joy and having a life of her own.
She isn’t chasing perfection.
She wants a life that feels beautiful, supported and full.
And she’s the woman we’ve been talking to, and living alongside, for years.
Modern Domestic may be new, but building trust with women isn’t.
Toya previously founded and led Everything Girls Love, a Black women’s lifestyle brand recognized by Black Enterprise, and has spent years building communities, brands and stories rooted in the real lives of women.
Vee brings the financial discipline, home systems and grounded perspective of a 20-year U.S. Navy veteran, wife and mother navigating blended-family life.
Tiff brings years of high-level project and account management, along with the eye for detail, design and experience that shapes the environments we create.
Together, we bring three different skill sets, three lived perspectives and one shared understanding of the woman we serve.
Most Days I Do
Most Days I Do gives brands another way into the conversation.
Our marriage and partnership series brings the three couples together around the table for honest conversations about love, parenting, finances, intimacy, friendship and long-term partnership.
For the right brand, integration can happen naturally inside an episode, around the table or within the experience surrounding it.
The goal is never product placement for the sake of product placement. The brand has to belong in the life already happening.

We’re most interested in partnerships that make sense for the women already watching, gathering and doing life with us.
